Warien Rose Foundation Organised Programme on Domestic Violence for the Girl Child in Collaboration with United Nations and GIABA ECOWAS

Warien Rose Foundation organised a programme on domestic violence, and promotion of gender equity through girl child education in collaboration with United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) and the Intergovernmental Action Group Against Money Laundering in West Africa (GIABA) – an arm of ECOWAS.

Mr. Oluseyi Soremekun spoke on behalf of UNIC, while Mr. Tim Melaye of GIABA addressed the audience which includes female students from secondary schools in Lagos Nigeria.

Barrister Efe Anaughe – covener of Warien Rose Foundation said that she was impressed with the attention to support and social contribution of the organizations represented at the event. She promised that more programmes will be organized to make the society better in all ramifications.
